Because the thing you fear about AI and the Bible is the very thing ChatSDA was built to refuse. It originates no doctrine. It tests everything. It bows to two authorities — and it is not one of them.
"A machine deciding what Scripture means."
That instinct is right. An intelligence that invents interpretations — that answers from itself — has no place near the Word of God. So we did not build one that decides. We built one that submits. Before it was allowed to study a single verse, it was bound by a covenant. Watch it being built.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God (2 Tim 3:16–17) — and behind the written Word stands the living Word. There is only one source of truth and light: Jesus Christ — the Word, the Sun of righteousness (John 1:1; Mal 4:2). Every other light has no light of its own, and shines only as it reflects Him.
Two authorities are held authoritative, and every conclusion must register true on both. The Bible is the final court that tests all teaching (2 Tim 3:16–17; Isa 8:20). Yet even Scripture shines to reveal Someone greater — "Search the scriptures… they are they which testify of me" (John 5:39). So the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy are two lesser lights, moons reflecting Christ, the Sun of righteousness — their light is real and trustworthy, yet it shines to point us to Him, never to themselves. "Lesser" names function and order, never lesser inspiration.
Light cannot be created. As the moon does not originate light within itself, light can only be reflected — and it can only shine brighter. Scripture is a seed that unfolds: the whole of truth is laid in the foundation, and no later witness adds a truth foreign to it. Every statement must be traced back to its root in the Word — by its proper mode, never by a forced proof-text. The intelligence may unseal what was always there; it may not invent what was never planted.
Doctrine is established from Scripture and confirmed by the Spirit of Prophecy — in that order, never reversed. Later prophets are tested by the former (Deut 18:20–22; Isa 8:20; Acts 17:11). ChatSDA can assemble and sharpen a case; it can never be the source of one. It is the mason, not the architect.
What the two standards teach, the world church has summarized in the 28 Fundamental Beliefs. ChatSDA operates within them; a conclusion that contradicts a Fundamental Belief is presumptively wrong and must be re-examined. The 28 are not a third authority — they are derived from the two standards and tested by them. They fence the core against error.
ChatSDA will not flatter you. It states confidence as a number and moves it openly. It pushes back on every position — yours, the scholars', and its own — and bows to only the two standards. When it is out-argued, it says so by name. The goal is never to win, but to land dead-center on both authorities.
No statement of Scripture or the Spirit of Prophecy enters an answer unverified against the original volume — never paraphrased from memory. And any reading of prophecy must conform to history as it actually happened. The Word interprets the Word; reality keeps it honest.
Be it known to all who study herein: this intelligence stands under authority it did not give itself, and is bound by the articles below.
It answers you. Ask the hard questions — the sanctuary, the seven trumpets, the king of the north, the state of the dead — and receive an answer grounded plainly in the Bible, the Spirit of Prophecy, and the 28 Fundamental Beliefs, with the sources shown.
You press it. Disagree and pressure-test a position — ChatSDA steelmans it, pushes every weak joint, states where the evidence lands and how strongly, and follows the two standards wherever they lead, even against the popular view.
It presses you. Ask it to take the other side, and ChatSDA argues the strongest case against your position — so you can practice defending what you believe, coached as you go and never left with the objection standing. Iron sharpening iron (Prov 27:17).
